Our Gallery's Mission

Our gallery houses over 35 different artists, sculptures and jewelry makers. We are proud to feature ongoing monthly solo and group show exhibits, with truly fun and memeorable events. Our artists are from Santa Fe, the American Southwest and Around the World. We display a unique variety of art including: multicultural artwork, art of the sacred, recycled art, experimental art, therapuetic art, multimedia art, outsider art, Southwestern art, as well as art with a statement about the relationship between humans and the earth. We seek to enlighten viewers through the art viewing experience. We also work to educate gallery goers by supporting open dialogs about the art, historical and background information. We encourage collectors to view our rare collection. We feel as a gallery that supporting social and spiritual change within the textures of our rapidly changing world is of the utmost importance! This is why we are not afraid to show challenging and thought provoking work!





About Our Gallery

Eye on the Mountain is known for its rotating Art Shows that feature Solo Artists,  Group Shows with a theme or Fundraisers and awareness projects.

The shows each include artist nights designed to allow the artist to talk to the public about their art works, live art, perfomances, ideas, and processes. 

Our gallery also has a large selection of handmade gifts and jewelry not found anywhere else.. Each piece is carfully selected for its appeal as a unique charm for its future owner. Handcrafted jewelry is jewelry with mojo!

Our gallery also features community events and outdoor activities: music, live art, poetry slams, bonfires, drum circles, dancing and joy. We are currently cultivating a sculpture garden/performance space for our gallery. 

The Eye on the Mountain Art Gallery hopes to continue the legacy of  Talented Artists and with some of the most dynamic and interesting art on the Turquoise Trail.  We are now a collective of over 35 artists and jewelry makers.  Each artist brings thier original vision, quality and uniqueness! Many of our artists are not shown anywhere else in Santa Fe!

Our Gallery is designed as a venue to inspire the viewer. Our special collection is more than just wall art, all the art we show at Eye on the Mountain has deep meaning. Often the artwork on display causes a shift in consciousness through color, positive messages, sacred visions, new ideas, dreams, intuition or inspiration from the Earth. This is what we consider Real ART!

        "As the founder of Eye on the Mountain Art Gallery, I feel driven to show Uniquely Unconventional Visionary & Sacred Art. Our Gallery has featuring high-quality monthly solo and group art exhibits for over 15 years. The gallery was founded in 2004. I was inspired by the mystical quaility of color and light that I saw in Santa Fe, NM and the surrounding landscapes.  Bringing with  me a love of community building, enertainment & exciting live performances, I founded my own art gallery in Prescott, AZ! Since that time the gallery has been known for our ability to bring in a diverse crowd of art goers and present the artwork in an atmosphere that is casual, encahnting, enguaging, captivating.. You can't quite put your finger on it!  We are located in the heart of the Railyard Arts District and the Guadalupe Arts District, yet we are on the road less travelled. Our artists are pioneers featuring unique art with themes from around the world. We have honed a unique and devoted art collective of over 20 artists and a following of devoted eyeonthemountainers. Also, we continue to bring in new artists in rotating  group exhibits. We show original art that is capivating and well exicuted, but is not overly priced. We confidently feel that anyone who visits us can collect our art! For this reason, the Eye on the Mountain Art Gallery is an "Absolute Gem" for Art Collectors young and old from all walks of life! For me as the gallery owner and art director, it is exciting to meet so many artists who are outside the expected mold. We take on the feeling of creating new meaning through courageous art making. We seek to break with tradition in order to experience true artistic freedom! The exictement I feel about this mission drives me to host many unique "off the beaten path" art shows. Our artists are each vigurously practiced in thier own ways, many being highly prolific and some being self-taught artists. Our gallery is a much-needed break from convention. With that in mind we cultivate bringing you the viewer, a breath of fresh air!  I hope you can visit the gallery and talk to us more about the pioneers we host within our gallery walls. When you re-emerge from Eye on the Mountain Art Gallery, I hope that you have an opened your heart so that you can truly see the World in an Entirely New Way!

We accept all art portfolios for viewing online; please do not bring art to the gallery without an appointment. Send jpegs to the email below. If the gallery is interested, we will respond by email with an invite for the artist to join in on a group show. The possibility of a solo exhibit may also be considered after this initial group show.

Appointments can be made to bring art or view the gallery in person.
