Artist Statement

Dana Cohn was born in Long Beach, California. He grew up in Prescott, Arizona. He won many awards for his art at a young age. He got his undergrad degree at Augustana College.   He later won a scholarship for his talent and  received his MFA at Yale University  in 1993.  Currently, Dana lives and works in Prescott Arizona and teaches art at Yavapai Community College and in the Prescott College Art Department.  Dana loves teaching painting and print making, as well as painting as often as he can at his own studio.
